The painter's daughter showed interest in drawing since childhood. At ten, she started practising painting in children studio under the direction of her father.
In one and a half year Katya's first personal exhibition was set up in her school by strong recommendations of her teachers. Then, she had two more personal exhibitions. Thus the current exposition is the fourth show of her works.
Now Katya is studying in the art school where she masters academic techniques. Since September 2004 she is a member of Club of young arts crtitics which was established for schoolboys at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. Some professional arts crtitics give lectures there on the world art history.
